ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
July 2018 Onwards
Currently I am working as an Assisatant Professor in Department of Physics, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Recently I received DST- INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship award worth Rs 35 Lacs on my Project " Nano-SQUID Magnetometry for Biomedical Applications". Apart from Nano-SQUID Magnetometry, currently I am also working on Ferromagnetic nano-particles and their applications in Magnetic Hyperthermia for Cancer therapy. I have presented my research articles in various International and national conferences in India, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and United States. I have published research articles in highly reputed journals such as Physical Review Letters (as First Author), Superconductor Science and Technology (IOP), Journal of Applied Physics and Scientific Reports (Nature). I worked in TIFR, Mumbai as SERB-DST NPDF for almost two years.

I received my PhD degree in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. My research area is related with Experimental condensed matter physics, Low Temperature Physics, Nanofabrication and nanoelectronics.

I pursued Ph.D. in physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India in collaboration with CNRS-Institute Neel Grenoble, France. I visited France, Germany, Switzerland, United States (New York) and Japan for my research presentations during this period.
